John is an accomplished automotive industry professional and educator with more than two decades of experience in dealership operations, consulting, and leadership development. As NIADA’s 20 Group Sales Manager and Moderator, he leads high-impact peer group sessions for both Retail and Buy Here Pay Here (BHPH) dealers that drive profitability, operational excellence, and strategic growth.

A Certified Master Dealer program instructor, John combines deep industry knowledge with advanced skills in data analysis, market competitiveness, and leadership facilitation. His career spans leadership roles in sales, marketing, compliance, and business development, including guiding SaaS startups, managing multi-store dealership operations, and spearheading compliance initiatives.

John holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a Master’s degree in Global Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and is currently a Doctor of Education candidate in Organizational Leadership at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has also earned certifications in Management Consulting from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and in Digital Marketing & E-Commerce from Google. Known for fostering collaboration, building consensus, and implementing data-driven solutions, John is dedicated to helping dealers overcome challenges, seize opportunities, and achieve measurable results.
